Work Packages

The work undertaken by Baltic Gender is divided between core work packages (WPs 1-4 and 8) and cross-cutting work packages (WPs 5-7).

WPs 1-4 concentrate on:

  • fixing the number of women in science by increasing their participation (WP 1);
  • fixing the institutions by transforming structures and removing barriers (WP 2 and 3); and
  • fixing the knowledge by mainstreaming gender analysis into research (WP4).

The implementation of the Gender Equality Plans in the partner organisations is supported via WP8. WPs 1-4 feed into the implementation of Gender Equality Plans (WP8) at the organisational level via setting possible targets and monitoring their progress through gender-sensitive indicators.

WPs 5-7

support the activities of the core WPs via a continuous flow of knowledge (WP5), dissemination, exploitation and communication of the results (WP6) and project coordination (WP7).
